Carolina & Brad's Wedding

My latest event was to shoot a close-knit, family style wedding in a traditional country setting of PA. The bride and groom had the unique idea of capturing the union of their lives with his son and her daughter in the fields of a nearby flower farm. The barn and rolling fields provided a natural landscape to capture the beauty of their special day. After the pre-ceremony photos were taken, the couple shared their vows surrounded by family and friends in a backyard ceremony. The evening was celebrated under a large, white tent decorated with white and yellow globes that cast the perfect light on the tables and dance floor.

It was a great experience to catalog the day of events for Carolina & Brad. I enjoyed the original photos that their wedding provided. Congratulations and Best Wishes as you start your lives together.

The Weekend

After another week with my nose to the grind. Thankfully it is almost over. I've been thinking of a new project to work on, something to showcase the area a little bit, but I'm not too sure which direction I would like to take it. Here is a bit of what I have already, we shall see where it leads me.

Things have been starting to pick up a bit for the fall after a mild summer. I had a few side projects to get done which were mostly favors for good friends, more on that later. In the coming weeks I'll be preparing for Carolina and Bradley's wedding in August, which I am very excited about. The country theme and backyard setting will offer plenty of opportunities for great moments to be captured.

In the mean time I am going to leave you with something a little different. Very seldom do you see a photo of a photographer in action, but I was lucky enough to have Cheryl get some photos of me while I was taking some of her daughter (the bride from the last post). My only complaint about the shoot, the water was pretty cold.

Busy Man

There just are not enough hours in the day sometimes! I’ve been very busy lately with so much stuff, some of it important, some of it not so much. However, today is a day for one of those important days. I recently had a wedding at the Bastress Mountain Winery. Megan and Mike looked wonderful along with everything else. I wanted to get some pictures up just so everyone could take a look. Megan also had a great idea to get some more use out of her dress. We took a little trip up to Ravensburg State Park and got a little wet. Take a look!

Well, this is the first of many postings to come from me, so I will make it short. I'd rather let my camera do the talking anyways. This was a busy month for my camera, two weddings, prom formals, and a trash the dress secession. I’ll have some images to come from a few of those events, but in the mean time if you have any plans for an event you want captured give me a call and we can discuss your situation. I’ll be talking with you soon.
